enable trusted sources XL97 WinXP
 

Hello,

My xl 97 is not offering the option to 'enable trusted sources'.
The 'Security' bar is not showing.

(Excel | Tools |Macro |Security |Trusted Sources | access to VBA Project)

In my VB app , I create code for an xl Toolbar and some vba code to handle events send it all to XL. This has been working for years.

Now we are forced onto a new PC ,I tried the code on Win 10, a vmbox, and now back on 2 old xps , still no | security | bar will show.

It must be obvious but I am puzzled.
