View formula results instead of formula in 2003 version?

In old Excel version 2002 you could use the CTRL+` to look at results instead
of a formula in the cell. That no longer works. How do you change it in Excel
2003?

I think you've got it backwards, but... it still works for me.

With Excel 2003 CTRL + ` toggles View Formulas on/off same as Excel 2002.

If your formulas are not showing results but formulas only perhaps the cells
were formatted as text prior to entering the formulas.

Try selecting a cell with formula and re-formatting to General then(IMPORTANT)
hitting F2 then <ENTER

Do you get the results now?

If so, do this for all the cells. If many cells, select them all then
Edit?Replace

What: =
With: =

Replace all.
