In Excel 2003, the histograms are incorrect. Excel shows a bar gr.
 
When creating histograms using the "Data Analysis feature, Excel creates bar
graphs. Bar graphs are not histograms. Histograms bars share a boundary. They
are used to chart interval and ration data. Bar graphs are used to graph
nominal and ordinal data.

I agree with Harlan that if you are going to be doing a lot of graphing or
statistics, you are better off with a dedicated program. However, if you
right click on one of the bars, under Format Data Series, Options, you can
set the gap width to 0.
