how to add a combolist drop down to each row

1 Attachment(s)
i want to get a combolist dropdown menu against each name of students.i have a list of qualities in the dropdown menu. on selection it should display in col D3:D12.

I tried this on first time.why on
D5 the content is not clear? what should be the ideal procedure?for my present purpose what kind of listcontrol should i select from the active x group?why the selected item is not displaying clearly.
what is the method to copy paste the box which i create on the first row to other rows? in this example i have done it seperately for each row. went to design mode. inserted=activex control- etc each time .

I have listed some qulities in G3:G9. this range has been named as qualities. is it necessary to keep this somewhere in the worksheet?

in the design mode-properties window, link range and linked cells- are these fields to be filled manually or is there any way to select by excel.

kindly explain in detail. thanks
