Problem Re Passwords, etc.

Hello,

Using Excel 2007 and W7.

Over the past few months my Excel has developed a problem that is a bit
hard to describe, but I'll try.

Once opened, it "usually" works just fine, but other times it won't
accept any kind of data into any of the cells.

The problems arise when trying to open up initially.

It has the two passwords associated with it.

Sometimes they work, and sometimes they won't.
Even if they are (eventually) accepted,
sometimes the opening screen totally freezes up.

Tend to believe it's a true Excel problem, as everything else on PC
works fine.

Was wondering if there are any Excel specific diagnostics that I can try
to locate problem and hopefully fix it ?

Any suggestions or thoughts as to what might be going on ?

Much thanks; appreciate the help,
Bob

Suggest getting one of the password removers that are out there and removing
any and all passwords from the file. If that fixes it, your problem is
solved. If not, at least you have some more info. :)
