If I use Autofit on each, the widths are close but not identical, and are reported as 23.25 and 11.25 respectively. Doesn't seem to make sense! RowHeight is based on FontSize and/or if Wrap is turned on it will affect height as well. Thanks Garry, hadn't realised that, thought it was an independent setting. But after ensuring font size is identical, Excel 2000 still shows sheets at different sizes. With all cells selected in both cases, Wrap is unchecked. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/ExcelSizePuzzle-1.jpg Well, it looks like it was down to me! Somehow I'd zoomed each sheet to a different scale. Don't recall doing anything of the sort. Anyway, by using the Ctrl key and my mouse wheel I've now got them *almost* the same - but I don't see why I can't get them identical! -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |

I keep mine set at 100% in most cases because not all machines have the same screen res.
