Hi Claus Busch
is there a Conditional Format into these cells?

Not that I know off, I didn't create one

I am able to colour/un-coloured cells that have no colour, but unable
to colour or un-colour existing coloured cells.
This is my own spreadsheet & I coloured the cells last week?

are you able to select these cells and choose "Format cells"?
If not, the sheet is protected.
Select the cells and choose CF to check if there is a CF working.

BTW

What do you mean by "doesn't work"?

Error message? Nothing? No cells found?
