Autosave then email
We have a remote computer running excel, we would like to set-up the
spreadsheet to autosave at 4:00 am then email the spreadsheet if possible. I have been trying to write a script and have attempted to Bob Phillips advice to no avail. Thanks |
I don't see Bob's suggestion in this thread anymore.
But did he say that you might be able to use Application.ontime to schedule your macro to save/email. See Chip Pearson's site for notes on Ontime: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/ontime.htm And for sending an email, I'd look to Ron de Bruin's site: http://www.rondebruin.nl/ He has lots of code samples for different email programs. confused wrote: We have a remote computer running excel, we would like to set-up the spreadsheet to autosave at 4:00 am then email the spreadsheet if possible.
