will subtract the value in cell A2 from B2

Is this what you're after, or is it something more complexed

You can always do it the difficult way, if you want to rest A1 with A2
you can put:

=if(A1<0,(A1^2)^(1/2)*522/(261*2)*(-1)-(A2*-(sqrt(65478)^2)+32739*2+1),A1-35486*(sqrt(16)-4)-A2)
