Enter "1", cell show ".01". Why?
Any number typed into a cell is divided by 100.
If proceded by "=" the number is correct. What caused this and how can I fix it? |

If you format a cell as a date, and then you type 1 in the cell it will
display as 1 Jan 1900. Similarly, you have some format enabled that displays 1 as .01 Clear the formats in the affected cells, or format them as type number or General and you will have the entered numbers displaying correctly. To format, select the affected cells, right click and choose format Hope that helps "Yonian" wrote: Any number typed into a cell is divided by 100. If proceded by "=" the number is correct.
