Format Drill to Details Table

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to format the drill to details table that comes up when
you double-click a pivot table report so that it generates using specific
formats? For example, if there are dates in the Pivot Table, have them
appear in a certain format or have numbers show as currency. The source data
is formatted so this occurs but when the pivot table drill to details sheet
appears, the formatting is completely different.

I have searched everywhere I can think of for an answer to this. Help would
be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thank you!
Gillian

You can use the format painter on Excel's formatting toolbar to copy the
formatting from the source data, and format the details.

Actually, what I meant is I would like it to generate in that format already,
not format after the fact. The pivot table shows expenses for the quarter
and the executives double-click their department to see their detail data. I
would like that detail data to generate as currency, proper date format etc
as opposed to formatting it AFTER it generates.

Thanks - your continued help is appreciated,

Unfortunately, there's no way to control the output as it's being created.
