Greetings all. I maintain an Excel workbook on a shared drive to track
information about jobs. Recently I have noticed that it takes longer and longer for the file to open. It had grown to 25 megs. I copied it and deleted it from the shared drive, then replaced it with my copy. It is now only 11.9 megs, but that still seemed way to large. I copied it again and deleted everything on every sheet, deleted all lines and color, basically making a workbook of three totally blank, all white sheets. It is still 11.9 megs. Where is this coming from? It seems to have a mind of its own. |
