Putting data into pivot tables in columns not rows.
I have data on purchases of equipment by purchase order (total cost, number
of pieces of equipment, total cost per piece). I'd like to line up these data in a pivot table, but put the data in multiple columns, not in rows under each. Example Location Total Cost Number of Pieces Cost per piece Location One XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX Location Two XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX The only way I find to format the pivot table is: Location One Total Cost XXXXX Number of Pieces XXXXXX Cost per piece XXXXXX Location Two I am running Office 2000. Can anyone help? |
Drag the Data button onto the cell that contains the word Total. That
will arrange the data horizontally in the pivot table. ACP wrote: I have data on purchases of equipment by purchase order (total cost, number of pieces of equipment, total cost per piece).
