updating excel
 

one of two people who frequently open a rather large spreadsheet is having
problems with searches. I looked and they seem to have different versions of
excel 2000

Person 1
Win 2000 sp4
excel 2000 (9.0.6926 sp-3)

Person 2
Win 2000 sp4
excel 2000 (9.0.3821 sr-1)

I know what sp (service pack) is but what's sr?
where do I find the updats to get everyone the same?
can the difference be the cause of Person2's problelms?
