Why does my mouse unpredictably start scrolling horizontally?
When I am working in Excel 2003, all of a sudden after working for a time in
a worksheet and scrolling up and down with my mouse wheel, the cursor will start scrolling horizontally instead of vertically when I use my wheel. This occurs even whithout pressing down on the wheel. The only way I have figured out to "fix" it temporarily is to save and close the file and then reopen it. This is only a temporary "fix" and is extremely annoying. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to give it a permanent fix? Thanks, Ken |
Check if there is a newer version of the mouse driver and if so install it I
have never heard of this problem but mostlky mouse problems have are driver related Regards, Peo Sjoblom "Ken Beedy" wrote: When I am working in Excel 2003, all of a sudden after working for a time in a worksheet and scrolling up and down with my mouse wheel, the cursor will start scrolling horizontally instead of vertically when I use my wheel.
