routine to refresh all pivots in WB acroos several sheets
Is there a way to refresh all pivots in a multi-sheet workbook with several
pivots per sheet situation. I am updating a list weekly driving many pivots in a work book and I need to go through and refresh all of them individually. It would be great to automate this to refresh all at once. |
Dear Todd, a simple way to do it is customize your pivot table tools bar and
add the "Refresh All" button. The steps would be the following; 1) If not present, show the Pivot table toolbar, by selecting it from the menu "View" -- "Toolbars" -- "Pivot table" 2) At the end of the tools bar is an arrow that you can click and display the "Add or remove Buttons" options. Click it, and select from there "Pivot Table" -- "Refresh All". 3) Select from your workbook any Pivot Table, and then click the new "Refresh All" button of the Pivot Table Toolbar.
