No, you can buy excel 2002 as a standalone or you can download a trial
version of Office 2003 from Microsoft

Depending on what you're doing, you may want to try OpenOffice.

http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD

Maybe it'll save you a few bucks
