find and replace path name in Excel cells containing hyperlink
Does anyone know of a way to do a "find and replace" of Excel cells
containing hyperlinks? The standard find and replace does not seem to examine the hyperlink file. I'll be getting Excell spreadsheets containing hundreds of cells containing hyperlinks to to a project's local drive and I will be moving them to a network drive and want to change the "path" of the linked file to a specific SharePoint website folder. Any ideas? Can you put me in contact with a Excel expert |
Take a look at David McRitchie's site:
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/buildtoc.htm look for: Fix Hyperlinks (#FixHyperlinks) If you're new to macros, you may want to read David McRitchie's intro at: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm leoe wrote: Does anyone know of a way to do a "find and replace" of Excel cells containing hyperlinks?
