Default Log and regular plot

I'm using Excel 2000. I need to create a plot that has log scale on the
main "X" axis and regular scale on the secondary "X" axis. I have no
idea how to do this so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

What specifically are you having trouble with? I had not trouble
putting a chart together and selecting "logarithmic scale" (scale tab
of format axis dialog) for the main x axis and leaving secondary x axis
alone (Excel 2002).

Yes, but I have to set of data display on the plot. One of them has to
be displayed as bars the other as a line. In fact is just statistical
chart with frecuency (which is the one we want as bar) and cumulative
percentages (which the line). However one of the values has to be shown
as log and when I set it up with two type of charts (bar and line) to
log the other gets messed up.
If you have your file and you don't mind uploading it, I would
appreciate it.
Thanks for your help!

I expected you were using a scatter plot. For regular Line and Column
charts, the X (usually referred to as "category") axis represents
categories and not numeric values. Because the category axis contains
"categories" rather than numeric values, it can't be converted to a
logarithmic scale.

The series that needs to be on a logarithmic X scale will need to be in
a scatter plot. Beyond that, I'm a little uncertain of exactly what you
want.
