Use spreadsheet as data source

Hi,

We have two workbooks,
Bk 1 contains information relating to production scheduling and
manufacturing information.
Bk2 is a template used to generate a ticket (workbook) containing specific
information relating to the individual order.

Is it possible to transfer information between the two.

Eg on Bk1 there is a packing spec worksheets for items, what size outer to
use, and how many items in that outer as well as other information, can we
interrogate this (search by item code) and then "autofill" in cells marked
"Outer" and "Number" in Bk2 (ticket).

Thanks in advance

Paul

It sounds as though you could use Advance Filter for this.
Take a look at
