Excel and internet reporting!
 

Hi!

I want to publish tables and charts to a webpage using excel. I want
excel to import the data periodiacally from a text file and thereafter
publish them periodically to a webpage.

I've managed to get this working using a routine like this (plus excels
dataimport function);

Sub Auto_Open()
ActiveWorkbook.PublishObjects.Add(xlSourceChart, _
"H:\timetest\ResponseDist.htm" _
, "Chart1", "", xlHtmlStatic, "DevXSample_16365", _
"Chart Title Goes Here").Publish (True)
Application.OnTime Now + TimeValue("00:05:00"), _
"Auto_Open"
End Sub

However, this only works as long as the workbook is open!

Is there any way of getting excel to do this while the workbook is
closed? (may be a stupid question, but what the #¤¤%).

Any help greatly appreciated!
