Then you could use some kind of conditional formatting to even color those cells. (I don't think that there's anything you can do to "fix" those arrows/colors.) But some things that may make it easier. If you go through each column to reset the autofilter to show all the data, you can use: Data|Filter|Show All (or even drag that icon to your favorite toolbar) Tools|customize|commands tab|Data Category look for ShowAll And if you're just trying to notice if the worksheet has any filters turned on, take a look at the row numbers of that filtered range.
