Why can't I unhide rows 1 to 47 in a worksheet?
No matter what I try, I can't show the rows I hid. Please help.

Because you have freeze panes.

Click on the blank box/cell in the upper left hand corner of the worksheet.
This should highlight the entire sheet. Now click Format Row Unhide. Alternately, if you you have additional hidden rows and/or columns, in the Name box type A1, the Enter.
