Hello,
I need to type the following in one of the cells: E(Ut), where "t" stands for time, and it is formatted to be a Subscript. MS-Word even has a toolbar button that makes text "subscript". However, when I paste this text into Excel, the subscript formatting disappears. Is there a way to format some of the text in a cell as subscript? Thank you! |

Select the part of the text you want subscripted. Then press Ctrl-1 and
check the Subscript checkbox, close the dialog and press Enter. -- Jim "Sam" wrote in message ... | Hello, | | I need to type the following in one of the cells: | E(Ut), where "t" stands for time, and it is formatted to be a Subscript. | MS-Word even has a toolbar button that makes text "subscript".
