I need a template or idea to track daily sales for a restaurant and bar
|
Hi
That should be quite easy to setup? Decide what info you want to log, jot them down in Column A, starting in Row 2. In Row 1, starting in Col B, enter the dates, and you'r halfway there. Add formulae to sum each days info, and you have daily totals. Add formulae to sum each row, at the end of the month, and you have monthly totals per item. Add this column, and you have monthly grand total. For a bar, for example, you would want to track sales of liquor, so you could jot down things like Brandy, Cane, Whisky, Gin, Vodka and what not, sort them alphabetically, decide whether you want to log quantities or value, and insert daily totals in each column.
