Excell, changing wholesale to retail, round up to multipuls $5
I am changing wholesale prices to retail prices. I want to round up the cost
to multipuls of $5. wholesale formula A18 =roundup (A18*2) multipuls of 5 $23.15 ($26.30) desired answer $30.00 |
There's probably an easier way, and I think you made a typo with your 23.15,
you meant 13.15, but here goes: =IF(MOD(ROUNDUP(A1*2,-1),10)=0,ROUNDUP(A1*2,-1),ROUNDUP(A1*2,-1)+5) ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Running The Store" <Running The wrote in message ... Try this for a number:
=CEILING(A18,5) And format the cell as you wish. OR, for a text display, try this: =TEXT(CEILING(A2,5),"$#,###.00") -- HTH, RD ============================================== Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ============================================== "Running The Store" <Running The wrote in message ...
