Default Max # of named ranges

What is the max # of named ranges on a worksheet? On a workbook? Is
there a limit to the number of named ranges that can be referenced
via a mail merge? TIA!

hi,
In excel help type the word specifications.

Names in a workbook - Limited by available memory

as to the mail merge part, you may have to look up specifications in Word.
not listed in excel or i missed it.
