How do I unhide the data in Excel?
I did not want to hide the worksheet completely but did not want to display
the information until a specific date so I did something that made the entire worksheet grey. Problem is I forgot how I did it and how to restore it. Help! |
Goto FormatSheetsUnhide and see if you can select it there.

No. When you hide the worksheet in Excel, the tab and everything disappears.
In this case, the tab is available but the sheet is gray. "Bob Phillips" wrote: Goto FormatSheetsUnhide and see if you can select it there. -- HTH Bob Phillips "Cathy" wrote in message ... Use the shift command and highlight the column to the left and right of the
hidden columns. Then right click and select unhide. "Cathy" wrote: No. When you hide the worksheet in Excel, the tab and everything disappears. Maybe you hid all the rows (or columns).
Ctrl-a (twice in xl2003) to select all the cells (even if you can't see them) Format|column|Unhide or format|row|unhide Cathy wrote: No. When you hide the worksheet in Excel, the tab and everything disappears.
