Can Excel 2000 be upgraded alone to 2003 on an NT4 machine?

Is it possible to upgrade Excel 2000, standalone, from the rest of the office
suite (as we have applications that wont work with, say, Word 2003) on a
machine running Windows NT4???

All help appreciated ;-)

Your problem isn't running different versions of Office components on
the same machine. You can do that (if you're careful); for example at
my office we run Office 97 or Office XP (depending on how recently the
machine was upgraded) along with Outlook 2003. (Don't ask me why, it
was the I.T. department's idea...) As long as you install from oldest
to newest, you should be OK for the most part.

The problem is with the operating system. Apparently Office 2003 won't
run on NT4. You need at least Windows 2000 SP3.
