Empty File
I saved and closed an Excel file. The next time I opened it, it was empty,
but shows a file size of 14.5 KB. Any suggestions where the contents went (are)? Silver |
Hi,
I think empty workbooks will be about that size anyway. Try pressing Ctrl + End on each worksheet. This will take you to the last column & last row containing any data. Hope this helps, Matt "Silver" wrote: I saved and closed an Excel file. The next time I opened it, it was empty, but shows a file size of 14.5 KB. Any suggestions where the contents went (are)? That's about the typical size for an empty Excel file. Even
though the workbook doesn't contain data in cells, it contains info about worksheets, various defaults, and other info about the workbook. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Silver" wrote in message ...
