Pasting HTML script to Excel 2007 converts the cells format to 'General'
Hi,
When I convert a cell's format to 'Text' & paste the text '.234567', Excel retains the format & shows '.234567'. But when I convert the cell's format to 'Text' & paste HTML code that contains '.234567' (as shown below), Excel converts the cell's format to 'General' & shows '0.234567' <html<body<STYLE TYPE=\"text\plain"</STYLE.234567</body</html I tried with different STYLE TYPES but didn't work. Is there any tag that I can use as part of HTML code or something I can do in EXCEL to make this work? Please reply ASAP Thanks, Dilip PS: '.234567' here represents the frequency in a week |
