Cancel a Link and a Macro

I have a file that has a link to another file and a macro. We want both of
these items deleted, but we're having some problems. Pertaining to the link,
I found the cells that have the link and have changed them to just have
values, but when the file opens, it still wants to link to this other file.
How can I stop excel from trying to link to the other file.
As for the macro, I opened the macro menu and deleted the only macro in
the file. Then I saved the file and closed it. When the file reopened, it
asked whether I wanted to enable the macro. This is the only macro in the
spreadsheet, and I supposedly deleted it, so how can I stop this message from
appearing when I open the file?

Thanks in advance!

When I can't find links, I'll use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

Debra Dalgleish has nice instructions for getting rid of macros at:
