I have the following range

8T 15T
25 3.5 4.5
50 5.5 6.0
100 9.8 10.0

It the value in say A3=8T and B3=24 I want a formula in C3 that returns 3.5

Assume your 8T is in cell A3,...... and your 24 is in cell b3.......and your
table is in range H1:J4, (H1 being the blank cell)
Change H2 from 25 to 0
Change H3 from 50 to 25
Change H4 from 100 to 50

In cell C3 put this formula
=IF(A3="8T",VLOOKUP(B3,H1:J4,2,TRUE),IF(A3="15T",V LOOKUP(B3,H1:J4,3,TRUE),"NoEntryInCellA3"))

It's all one formula on one line, so watch out for email word wrap.
