How to show dropdown list from another workbook without running it
 

I created a dropdown list using as a source a column from another
spreadsheet. When I colose the source spreadsheet the dropdown list doesn't
work anymore.
Any idea?

Copy the choices for the drop down to the main workbook..
If you don't like seeing them in the main workboook, put them on another
worksheet and hide that worksheet..
