Social Security Number
How do you convert a social security number from text to a number? Is there a way to convert an entire column? -- montagu ------------------------------------------------------------------------ montagu's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=15227 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=382531 |
Assuming your SS numbers are in the format of 123-45-6789, Try doing a Find/Replace Find "-" (don't enter the " marks) Replace with (leave this blank) Does this work for you?
