How do I make a column in Excel into two columns for only A3-A8
I need to have a mini spread sheet inside the larger one. So I need to make
Column A into 2 columns at A3-A8 positions. That means that cells A1 and A2 are the same size the A3-A8 cells become two columns. I can split them with the draw tool by putting in a vertical line, but this doesn't allow correct alignment and formulas for those cells. HELP AND thank you. excel Microsoft office 2003 on Windows XP |
You can't split cells in Excel, however you could merge cells above and
below so that it looks like you have split the cells IE merge A1 and B1, A2 and B2, A9 and B9 etc. "ruffles the cat" wrote: I need to have a mini spread sheet inside the larger one.
