go to - special - visible cells only - takes too many key strokes
I am aware that I should write a macro in personal.xls but for the next
version of excel please put the function: "edit - go to - special - visible cells only" somewhere more accessible. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Hi,
You could right-click a toolbar, select Customize..., select the Commands tab, select the Edit category, scroll down to the end of the commands list. Third from the bottom is a button to select visible cells only. Click-and-drag that to a toolbar. No macros required - just customizing your toolbar. You can customize your favorite toolbar with an icon that does that for you.
Tools|Customize|Commands tab|Edit category Look for select visible cells and drag to your favorite toolbar. Select your bigger range and then click that button!
