find and replace
under find and replace, i can only look in formulas. is it possible to look
in values? this option is offered under the find window, but under find and replace i just see formula. |
It'll look in values, too. (If that's what you're asking.)
If you really want to just look in values, then... select your range edit|goto|special|constants click ok If you only have one cell selected after you do this, create a dummy cell with a constant in it. Then do your edit|replace against just those selected cells. (if you only have one cell selected, excel figures you want to fix all the cells.) steve wrote: under find and replace, i can only look in formulas. is it possible to look in values? this option is offered under the find window, but under find and replace i just see formula. -- Dave Peterson |
