Any chance that you're using "Freeze Panes"?
In some versions, if the validated cell is *IN* the "frozen" section, the list becomes inoperable. -- HTH, RD ============================================== Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ============================================== "retep" wrote in message ... Hey Ron,
Window(XP Home) freeze panes (No - unfrozen) and Excel 97 (Excel 2003) Any other ideas, I'm stuck in the middle of a project with a "kick - ass" deadline. Perhaps objects are hidden.
To show them, choose ToolsOptions On the View tab, for Objects, choose Show All, or Show Placeholders retep wrote: When creating a specified list on the same worksheet and in the same workbook and having checked the in-cell drop-down option, the validated cell does not show the in-cell drop-down arrow.
