How to create a drop down menu which referencing a different workb
I followed the Microsoft Help instruction to create drop down list. It says
i can create a drop down list in separete worksheet or different workbook. but only the separate worksheet seems to work. I tried to link my drop down menu to different workbook and it shows this error message "You may not use reference to other worksheets or workbook for data validation criteria". what does it mean? how can i create a drop down menu and link it to a different workbook?
