changing date format not working
After selecting a column and changing format to custom date yyyymmdd. The
changes do not take place. Double Clicking in the individual cells afterwards bring up the desired results. |
Your dates were entered as Text, which isn't subject to Number Formats.
You can coerce them back to XL dates by copying a blank cell, selecting your dates and choosing Edit/Paste Special, selecting the Values and Add radio buttons. Change the format to your desired one.
