Corrupt Spreadsheet
Hi,
I have a spreadsheet that appears corrupt - every time I open it Excel crashes. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do with a suspect corrup spreadsheet file? -- Many thanks in advance for any assistance |
Marek,
Try opening it with a different version of Excel. If that's successful, save it, then returning that to your Excel might work. Try opening it with "Open and repair" in the File - open dialog (expand the open button) (depends on your version of Excel). Try opening it in Open Office (www.openoffice.org). It can save as xls. Try opening it with the free Excel viewer (www.microsoft.com). That'll at least allow you to salvage some of the contents if it works. -- Earl Kiosterud mvpearl omitthisword at verizon period net ------------------------------------------- "Marek" wrote in message ...
