How do I change the colum headings?
I want to change the preset colum headings (A,B,C.....) to something
different.....How do i do that? |
You have the option of letters or numbers (Tools/Options/General "R1C1
Reference Style"). That's all. In article , "help" wrote: I want to change the preset colum headings (A,B,C.....) to something different.....How do i do that? |
From the menu choose
Tools, Options, General, then check the "R1C1 reference style"-box "help" wrote in message ... I want to change the preset colum headings (A,B,C.....) to something different.....How do i do that? |
If you mean change the A,B,C to something more meaningful such as "Name",
"Address", "City" etc., you can't. You can use row 1 for your titles then select A2 or B2 if you also want column A frozen and WindowFreeze Panes. Now go to ToolsOptionsView and uncheck "Row and Column Headers".
