Wild curser

Thank You. This did not work. I have recently upgraded to 2003
version. Is there somethting in the set up I need to check that may be
causing this?

In Excel my curser goes wild and I can not "click" on any particular
cell. The entire spreadsheet highlights and runs... I do not have
control even to close out, have to ctrl/alt/delete. Help??

Had that happen to me, but it wasn't excel - it was the toggle mouse in the
middle of the keyboard going haywire. had to replace the entire keyboard.
heard it was not unusual on Dell laptops.

If you have a little mouse stick (don't know the actual name of the darn
thing), try using it to regain control next time. If that happens to be your
problem, my understanding is it only gets worse.
