how do i see all of a row that is cut off in excel?
I have a spreadsheet that looks fine while typing, but in print preview and
while printing, some of the rows are cut off at the top. i have tried to adjust the row height, and this does make the row larger, but the same thing happens in print preview and print. |
Have you tried manually setting the print range? -- ajpowers ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ajpowers's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=9406 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=377880 |
How do you have the alignment set for that cell(s).
Format|Cells|Alignment tab I could duplicate your results if I fiddled with that setting long enough. mcrow9680 wrote: I have a spreadsheet that looks fine while typing, but in print preview and while printing, some of the rows are cut off at the top. i have tried to adjust the row height, and this does make the row larger, but the same thing happens in print preview and print. -- Dave Peterson |
Why not format the cell to wrap the text, that's what I normally do.
Right click the cell, Format Cells, go to the ALighment tab, under Text Control, put a check in "Wrap Text". I always make the Vertical Text Alignment "Top". |
