text to columns

sometimes i get a text from a webpage with delimiters a small square (what
you get when you type =char(1) in an excel cell). how to specify this
delimiter in the <data-texttocolumn. Fixed width criterion does not help.
thanks regards

Try other, hold down the alt key and type 010 on the numpad, release the alt
key
I have never heard of char 1 as delimiter, sometimes char 10 and char 13
(alt + 013)

Try copying the character and pasting it into "other" in the delimiter
definition page. A lot of times the small square indicates you don't have
the font to support that character. It could be almost any character number.

Thankd. this did not work. i could not copy and paste the character . But i
found by trial and error that by selecting both tab and space you could
change the text to columns
