I am interested in setting up a spread sheet that will search a second
and third sheet for information entered on sheet 1.

Is it possible to make excel do this.

Without more detail it sounds like a job for the vlookup function.

According to Excel Help. =VLOOKUP(value to search for,range to search
in,column number of value to return).
