Excel goes through virus scan during start up
When I install add-ins (such as the XY Chart Labeler, Power Utility Pack),
Excel goes through a series of "requested virus scans" each time I start-up Excel. This is not usually a problem but it creates an uncomfortable pause when Excel is launched from a hyperlink in PowerPoint. Is there a way to turn off these unnecessary virus scans? |
Hi KG
In Norton you can disable the Office Scanning in the Options. -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl "KG" wrote in message ...
