You could search for [ or ] or .xls or use a nice utility already written.

It's not easy to find.

May need to browse through the cells and detect the formula. An Excel tool
called auditing may help to relieve some pain. Go to Views, Toolbars and
check the Formula Auditing. There are two buttons, one called 'trace
precedents' and one 'trace descendants' that would show the link trail.

If you want to 'freeze' the value as populated in the cells with formulas,
simply select the whole sheet (by clicking the left top corner next to the
first column), copy, and go to edit, paste special and select value only
