Link question....

How can I keep email addresses I type into Excel from turning into blue
links? I'm using a file just to archive things, and I'd rather have them
show as ordinary text rather than links. I could not find an answer in the
Excel help files.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi
in later Excel versions goto 'Tools - Autocorrection' and on the second tab
disable this feature

I could swear I had looked at that before, but somehow I missed that. It
works. Thanks a lot.
